PEARLY WHITES FUN
On August 7, 2024, St. Xavier’s Kindergarten organized an engaging and educational event titled "Pearly Whites Fun" for the UKG students in the Activity Room. The highlight of the event was the presence of Dr. Nancy Bansal, a renowned dentist from Bansal Hospital, Rampura.
The event began with a warm welcome extended to Dr. Nancy Bansal by the school management, including Rev. Fr. Eulalio Fernandes, Principal, Fr. Andre Fernandes, Manager, the school coordinator, assistant coordinator, and the school nurse. Dr. Nancy was honoured with a bouquet as a token of appreciation for her visit.
The event's primary focus was on educating the young students about oral hygiene. To capture the children's attention and make learning fun, educational videos were shown. These videos emphasized the importance of brushing teeth properly, incorporating more milk and dairy products into their diet, and reducing the consumption of sugary foods.
An interactive session followed, where Dr. Nancy engaged with the students, making the learning process enjoyable and participative. The students actively took part in the session, showing great enthusiasm and curiosity.
To assess and reinforce the knowledge imparted, a question-and-answer round was conducted. The students responded eagerly, showcasing their understanding of the topics discussed.
Dr. Nancy further enhanced the learning experience by using a model of teeth to demonstrate the correct brushing techniques. The hands-on demo provided the students with a clear understanding of proper oral care practices.
In conclusion, Rev. Fr. Eulalio Fernandes and Fr. Andre Fernandes expressed their gratitude to Dr. Nancy Bansal for dedicating her valuable time to enrich the students' knowledge. They appreciated her efforts in updating the children with the correct methods of brushing teeth and promoting overall oral hygiene.
The "Pearly Whites Fun" event was a resounding success, leaving the students better informed and motivated to take good care of their teeth.
