VEGETABLE IMPRESSION ART
On September 30, 2024, St. Xavier’s Kindergarten organized an engaging and creative activity titled "Vegetable Impression Art” under the theme "Discovering Patterns." This hands-on project provided U.KG students with the opportunity to explore different shapes and patterns by using vegetables to create unique prints on paper. To enhance the students’ experience, teachers prepared handmade cut-outs of various vegetables, which served as an inspiration for the young artists and helped them visualize the patterns they could create. The students eagerly participated, stamping the vegetables on paper and experimenting with different colours and designs, creating beautiful and nature-inspired artwork.
The activity was designed to foster important developmental skills in the students, allowing them to develop their creativity, fine motor skills, and an awareness of the natural shapes found in everyday vegetables. The students showed remarkable enthusiasm throughout the activity, which was further heightened by the presence of Rev. Father Principal Eulalio Fernandes, who witnessed the event and encouraged the young artists. His involvement provided the students with extra motivation, making the day even more memorable.
The event concluded with a display of the students’ artwork, reflecting their creativity and the valuable lessons learned during the activity. It was a delightful experience for both the students and teachers, and the school looks forward to organizing more such enriching and fun-filled activities in the future.
